Deborah Baradziej

Deborah Baradziej

bio

Deborah has practiced exclusively in the area of family law and litigation for more than XX years. She was called to the bar in 1992, and initially worked in general litigation. Finding that she connected more with the people and issues in family law, she chose to practice exclusively in the area and has been doing so since 1994.

In the course of her career as a family lawyer, Deborah has cemented her place in Alberta as a go-to litigator. She has represented clients in all levels of Alberta court, as well as in in Grand Prairie and Calgary.

Not only does Deborah know when to litigate, but, importantly, she knows when not to litigate. She understands that the court process can take a financial and emotional toll on parents, children, and extended family members. As such, Deborah has been expanding her practice: She is a qualified first-tier mediator in British Columbia, and believes in the value of a collaborative approach wherever possible.
