In light of the current concerns about the spread of COVID-19, Trilogy Family Law is adapting our operations in accordance with the recommendations of health authorities. We will be practicing social distancing, and as such, our office is closed to in-person visitors until further notice. Please contact our office in advance if personal attendance is required.
Our staff is working from home as much as possible. We continue to be available by e-mail. Phone appointments or videoconference calls can be scheduled by calling our office. Our staff will remain available by way of telephone call and e-mail during business hours. In order to ensure a timely response to all communication, we request that documents be sent electronically instead of via fax or courier. If documents must be sent by courier or fax, please call our office and advise us ahead of time.
We are monitoring the status of court operations in Alberta, where only emergency hearings are being conducted at this time. Chambers and trials are currently on hold, but we continue to be able to file documents and proceed with tasks that can be done remotely. We encourage you to consult the information on our blog for information about which matters are considered urgent or emergent at this time.
